Apple Computer now has a total of seven printed circuit board (PCB) suppliers in Taiwan for its iPod series, with Gold Circuit Electronics (GCE) being the latest addition to the supplier list, according to industry sources.

Apple Ups iPod Nano Red to 8 GB
Apple is offering a new 8 GB model of the iPod nano Red Special Edition, which it said is also part of the company's fundraising efforts. Apple said the new 8 GB iPod nano Red Special Edition holds up to 2,000 songs and is available for US$249, joining the 4 GB model priced at $199. Both models come in a red aluminum enclosure and feature 24 hours of battery life.
